| Rhinos Losing Streak at 6 After Extra-Inning Loss to Hops | The San Diego Hops went home winners at The Rubber Grounds, thanks in large part to starter Jon Givens. Givens silenced the Rubber City Rhinos, enabling San Diego to grab the 3-1 win. Adam Stoltzfus converted his 2nd save in 3 tries. Rubber City, at 15-48, has lost 6 straight.
Givens, a native of Foster City, California, was dealing all game. He kept Rubber City hitters off-balance, while giving the Hops 8 quality innings. Givens threw 102 pitches, allowing 3 hits and striking out 11.
