| Lake Monsters Fall Short, 2-1, at Kingwood | The Kingwood Knights did just enough to secure a 2-1 victory over the Okanagan Lake Monsters at Stable Park. Nobody did more than pitcher Scott Schaefers, who captured player of the game honors. Schaefers went 5.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 0, and struck out 7. His record improves to 8-3. Alton Lesage converted his 5th save in 7 tries.
