| Hornets Drop Another One | Princes center fielder Kenny Disbennett put his stamp on his team's 7-2 win over the Bethesda Hornets. Disbennett went 3-5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for Bel Air in the contest. Bel Air reliever J.D. Lindsey got the win, raising his record to 9-1. Abraham Martinez was tagged with the loss. The last-place Hornets have lost 6 straight games.
Juan Canales had a big run-scoring single for the Princes in the bottom of the third inning. With Bel Air trailing 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Abraham Martinez and stroked the single to left-center. It was his 93rd hit of the season, and more importantly, it put the Princes ahead, 2-1.
"It was a solid team effort and we'll try to keep this momentum going," Disbennett told reporters after the game.
