| Hornets Come Back Late to Clip Armada | The Hornets had to overcome a good performance from Quebec pitcher Oscar Cruz to claim a 6-3 win at The Nest. Cruz went 8 innings and allowed 2 earned runs. Eureka reliever Roger Rogers picked up the win, upping his record to 4-2. José López shouldered the loss. The Hornets bumped their record to 36-28 with this latest triumph.
Juan González was the walk-off hero for Eureka. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hornets left fielder hit a dramatic 3-run home run to send the teams home.
"Today was a lot of fun," said González.
