| Sting Turn Back Tree City, 4-3 | The Houston Sting stopped the Tree City Black Squirrels, 4-3, at The Nut House. The Sting got a big game from Andy Robinson, who was 3-4 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. David Hernandez earned his 23rd save in 24 chances. The Sting bumped their record to 86-73 with this latest triumph.
The game turned with no one out in the top of the fourth when Robinson, who is tied for 2nd in the RA in triples with 7, hit a 2-run triple. It propelled the Sting into the lead, 3-1.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Robinson.
