Warriors Clip Crosscutters in Tight Contest

Winfield Warriors starter Sam Shippy was locked-in. He led his team to a win over the Williamsport Crosscutters, 3-2. Shippy, now 4-8, was the winner. In 8 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 5, walking 2, and allowing 2 earned runs. Jose Eliserio got the save, his 12th in 17 chances.
