Black Squirrels Trounce Emeralds, 10-0

Tree City starter Jesus Ambriz put a stranglehold on the Eugene offense. The left-hander had complete command of his splitter in leading the Black Squirrels to a 10-0 win. The Black Squirrels bumped their record to 83-73 with this latest triumph.

Jose Curione, who is tied for 4th in the RA in RBI with 81, chipped in for Tree City with a 3-run home run in the top of the first. For the game, the first baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 2 runs scored, and 3 runs batted in.
