| Hornets Lose, 7-2, at Woodland Park | A 3-RBI performance from designated hitter Melvin Bibiano led the Houston Sting to a 7-2 win over the Bethesda Hornets. The Sting bumped their record to 83-72 with this latest triumph.
Bibiano came through with some timely hitting for Houston. With the score 0-0 in the bottom of the third and no one down, Bibiano hit a first pitch fastball for a 3-run home run. His 10th home run of the season made it 3-0, Houston.
Bibiano told the Houston Gazette: "I was born for the big stage."
