| Victory Over Texans Takes Seattle to 41-23 | The Seattle Sasquatch did just enough to sneak past the Dallas Texans, 4-3, at Sick's Stadium. Seattle pitcher Kanichi Kaneshiro earned player of the game honors. Kaneshiro got the win, improving to 2-3. He allowed 7 hits and walked 0 over 7.1 innings. Kaneshiro allowed 3 earned runs. Dallas, at 24-42, has lost 10 straight.
The Sasquatch got a big at-bat from designated hitter Harry May. For the game, May was 1 for 4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 8th home run of the season gave Seattle a 4-3 lead.
