| Mustangs Lose, 4-2, at The Republic | The New Orleans Jedi Knights picked up a win at The Republic, knocking off the San Angelo Mustangs, 4-2. Starting pitcher Geoff Baxter was an essential part of his team's success. T.J. Dyer converted his 2nd save in 2 tries. The Jedi Knights bumped their record to 86-71 with this latest triumph.
Paul Stasi's at-bat in the bottom of the fifth inning was a big one for New Orleans. Coming to bat with two out, a runner on 1st and New Orleans leading 3-2, the designated hitter hit a run-scoring single.
"I had pretty good command out there," said Baxter.
