| Victory Pushes Kings Record to 94-59 | The West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws got a sterling performance from pitcher Alfredo Jimenez, but the Kings still prevailed, 5-2. Jimenez was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball. Atlantic City reliever Andres Castaneda was the winner. His record is now 2-0. The losing pitcher was Alfredo Jimenez. Carlos Hernandez was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 7 of 9 save opportunities.
A crucial at-bat came with runners on 2nd and 3rd and two out in the top of the seventh inning. That's when right fielder Kane O'Connor, the 4th overall pick in the 2036 draft, drew a walk. The Kings went on to win.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Atlantic City manager Jorge Matos.
Atlantic City goes to 94-59. The win puts them 7½ games up in their division.
