Stable Park was the site of a competitive game between the Kingwood Knights and Chippewa River Chiefs.

Chippewa got a strong outing from Xiao-yong Shuo as the River Chiefs defeated the Kingwood Knights, 2-0, at Stable Park. The River Chiefs bumped their record to 91-62 with this latest triumph.

Sergio Rivera aided the Chippewa cause with a solo home run in the top of the fifth. For the game, the left fielder went 1-3 with a home run and a walk.

"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Rivera.
