| Vikings Turn Back Cambridge, 7-6 | Benefiting from an exceptional performance from J.D. Dennis, the Dublin Vikings defeated the Cambridge Orphans, 7-6. Dennis went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Vikings. Miguel Ramirez got the win, improving to 3-1. He worked 5 innings, giving up 5 runs on 6 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 5. Matt Hendricksen, credited with the save, is now 20 for 26 in save opportunities.
The Vikings got a big at-bat from left fielder Carlos Triana. For the game, Triana was 1-3 with a walk. In the bottom of the fifth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 83rd hit of the season gave Dublin a 6-5 lead.
