Okanagan starter Sean McCarthy had a strong outing against the Charleston Panthers at Franklin Mountains Field. The right-hander was a big part of his team's 4-1 win. McCarthy picked up the win for Okanagan, going 5.1 innings. He gave up 1 run on 7 hits. He now sports a record of 8-9. Avery Diamond got the save, his 10th in 16 chances.

The Lake Monsters got a big at-bat from designated hitter Armando Olvera. For the game, Olvera went 1 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Okanagan a 3-1 lead.
