| Orphans Lose, 4-2, at Baylor Ballpark | Brisbane starter Patrick Blakey had a strong outing against the Cambridge Orphans at Baylor Ballpark. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-2 win. Brisbane reliever Rich Pastrana picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Jared Lesley absorbed the loss. Johan Leedham converted his 1st save in 1 tries.
The Bush Wackers got a big at-bat from third baseman Alex Jaquez. For the game, Jaquez went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a grand slam home run. His 11th home run of the season gave Brisbane a 4-1 lead.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Jaquez.
