| Vikings Come Back Late to Top Panthers | It was a good time at The drakkar, where fans came to watch the Charleston Panthers and Victoria Vikings get after it.
Getting an impressive start from David Pensabene, Victoria beat Charleston by the score of 4-1. Zachary Schultz notched his 40th save in 41 chances.
The Vikings got a big at-bat from shortstop Jose Silva. For the game, Silva went 1 for 4 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the eighth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Victoria a 3-1 lead.
"This was a good win for us," said Silva. "It's one more step toward our ultimate goal."
Victoria improves to 91-57 with the win. They lead their division by 10 games.
