| Steenburg 'Lights Out' in Tree City Win | The Tree City Black Squirrels topped the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws, 5-0, in RCLA action at Penlee Park. The player of the game was Tree City pitcher and Milwaukee, Wisconsin native Steve Steenburg. The Black Squirrels bumped their record to 77-69 with this latest triumph.
Steenburg, who dominated for Tree City, earned the victory to move to 5-0. He was in control the whole game, scattering 2 hits over 7 innings, while striking out 12. West Virginia batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Steenburg.
