| Panthers Stymie Cambridge, Take 4-1 Win | Joe Crouch never let the Orphans get in a groove. The left-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Panthers to a 4-1 win. Harry Plyler converted his 1st save in 1 tries. The Panthers bumped their record to 77-66 with this latest triumph.
Scott Tuff aided the Charleston cause with a run-scoring ground out in the top of the first. For the game, the first baseman drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances.
Tuff told a Charleston Chronicle reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
