Mustangs Lose, 5-2, at The Death Star

The Georgia Grays topped the Mile High Mustangs, 5-2, in Thurman Munson League action at The Death Star. The player of the game was Georgia pitcher and Costa Rica native Juan Lucero. Joe Kearns was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 18 of 19 save opportunities. The Grays bumped their record to 38-26 with this latest triumph.

Bill Grant, who won the Rookie of the Year Award in 2033, aided the Georgia cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the first baseman was 2 for 5 with 2 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.
