| Tight Tilt Goes to Princes, 1-0 | Bel Air rode a fine outing from starter Dave Velasco to victory over the Okanagan Lake Monsters at Philip Banks Field. The final score was 1-0. Bel Air is now riding a 3-game win streak.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the seventh, with the game tied, Pete Lassahn was at the plate when Bel Air scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Princes to go in front, 1-0.
"Enjoyed this one," Lassahn told the Bel Air Gazette. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
