| Vikings Continue Skid Thanks to Slocum, Warriors | The Winfield Warriors defeated the Dublin Vikings, 9-4, at The Barn. Winfield left fielder Terry Slocum was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Dublin has now lost 5 straight.
Jaime Sweeney aided the Winfield cause with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the third. For the game, the third baseman was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice.
