| Black Squirrels Get Road Win, 6-2 | Tree City starter Jesus Ambriz pitched effectively against the Okanagan Lake Monsters at Elks Stadium. The left-hander led his team to a 6-2 win. Tree City reliever Raul Ramos got the win, raising his record to 5-6. Sean McCarthy was tagged with the loss. With the victory, the Black Squirrels record now stands at 73-67.
It could have been a different outcome for Tree City, had it not been for Alejandro Mata, the speedster . Mata contributed a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put Tree City up, 4-1.
"We'll enjoy this win," said Ambriz. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
