| Charleston Makes It 6 Straight with 4-3 Win | With left fielder Marty Clara leading the charge, the Charleston Panthers defeated the West Virginia Dancin' Outlaws, 4-3, at Franklin Mountains Field. Clara went 4 for 7 with 2 doubles and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Charleston now has a 6-game win streak.
Clara had a game-changing double in the bottom of the 13th. On a 1-1 knuckle curve from Pedro Morales, he banged a 2-run double to left, giving the Panthers a 4-3 lead. It was the 7th double of the year for Clara.
"Good pitching, clutch hitting," said Charleston skipper Guo-liang Wang. "I can't complain."
