| Yoo Leads Crosscutters to Win over Hornets | Myoung-chul Yoo drove in 4 runs to help Williamsport defeat Bethesda, 11-7. The second baseman had 2 doubles and 1 home run for the Crosscutters. Adrian Escobar, the winner, improved to 5-5. He held Bethesda to 5 earned runs on 6 hits over 5 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. Hidero Ueno was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 22 of 27 save opportunities.
Yoo had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the third, when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. The Crosscutters went on to win.
"It was a nice win for our side today," said Crosscutters manager Michael Ashe. "Not perfect, but we'll take it."
