| Jedi Knights Bang Out 8-4 Win Versus St. Paul | The rain at Saints Ballpark did not keep New Orleans and St. Paul from finishing their game.
New Orleans third baseman Heiichi Matsuo played a vital role in his team's 8-4 triumph over St. Paul. He was 2-5 with a home run, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once for New Orleans. Kevin Maxwell picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 2 earned runs on 4 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 13-6.
Matsuo had a big at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the fourth inning, when he hit a 3-run home run. The Jedi Knights went on to win.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Matsuo.
The Jedi Knights bumped their record to 76-64 with this latest triumph.
