| Orphans Slip Past Westside, 7-6 | The Cambridge Orphans stopped the Westside Road Warriors, 7-6, at Abbey Stadium. The Orphans got a big game from Taylor Ellis, who went 3 for 5 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The 4th-place Road Warriors have dropped 5 straight games.
Ellis had a game-changing single in the bottom of the tenth. On a 1-0 sinker from Manuel Visser, he banged a run-scoring single to center, giving the Orphans a 7-6 lead. It was the 60th hit of the year for Ellis.
