| Pioneers Shut Out Earthquakes | Getting an impressive start from Willard Stady, Vancouver beat San Francisco by the score of 7-0. At 23-39, the Pioneers find themselves in last place in the Thurman Munson League Billy Martin Division.
The Pioneers picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Stady told the Vancouver Times. "It's as simple as that."
