| Flores Helps Cyclones Run Win Streak to 5 | The Coney Island Cyclones defeated the Williamsport Crosscutters, 6-1, at Coney Island Coliseum. Coney Island right fielder Juan Flores was named player of the game for his superb performance. He went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. The 5th-place Cyclones have won 5 consecutive games.
Flores had a big at-bat with a runner on 2nd in the bottom of the fourth inning, when he hit a run-scoring double. The Cyclones went on to win.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Flores told the Coney Island Times.
