| Jedi Knights Drop Lake Monsters with Late Score | New Orleans Jedi Knights starter Kevin Maxwell was in fine form against the Okanagan Lake Monsters at The Republic, leading his team to a 3-2 win. New Orleans reliever Adrian Bogle picked up the win to move to 9-5. Alexis Machado suffered the loss. The Jedi Knights bumped their record to 73-62 with this latest triumph.
Alex Deigado was the walk-off hero for New Orleans. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Jedi Knights second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
After the game, New Orleans manager Pedro Gonzáles applauded the team's effort. "They busted their tails out there," he said.
