| Mustangs Subdue Eureka, 3-2 | The Mile High Mustangs did just enough to secure a 3-2 victory over the Eureka Hornets at McNichols Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Katsumi Nakata, who captured player of the game honors. Nakata picked up the win for Mile High, going 8 innings. He gave up 2 runs on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 3-2. Matt Rogers converted his 3rd save in 3 tries.
Shunso Sato, who is tied for 2nd in the TML in doubles with 17, came through for Mile High with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the seventh. The third baseman was a perfect 3 for 3 in the game, including 1 home run and 2 singles. He scored 1 run and collected 2 runs batted in.
