| Victory Pushes Blazers Record to 35-27 | The Bloomington Blazers picked up a win at Arson Arena, knocking off the South Carolina Bombers, 5-2. Starting pitcher Kenko Samurakami, who captured player of the game honors, was a big reason why. Bloomington has now won 3 in a row.
Arnold Layne aided the Bloomington cause with a 2-run single in the bottom of the third. For the game, the left fielder was 1 for 3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs.
