| Victory Pushes Black Squirrels Record to 69-62 | The Tree City Black Squirrels topped the Kingwood Knights by the score of 4-2, with the biggest share of the credit going to second baseman Luis Ramirez. Ramirez went 1 for 2 with a double and a walk. He drove in 2 runs for the Black Squirrels on the day. Jaime Tait converted his 13th save in 18 tries. The Black Squirrels bumped their record to 69-62 with this latest triumph.
The game turned with two out in the bottom of the fourth when Ramirez hit a 2-run double. It propelled the Black Squirrels into the lead, 3-1.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Ramirez.
