| Warriors Lose, 2-1, at Penlee Park | West Virginia got a first-rate effort from pitcher Andy Salas, who frustrated Winfield hitters en route to a 2-1 Dancin' Outlaws triumph at Penlee Park. Mike Crawford earned his 25th save in 29 chances. West Virginia now sits in 4th place in the RCLA Dusty Baker Division at 63-69.
The Dancin' Outlaws got a big at-bat from left fielder Ryo Kojima. For the game, Kojima went 1-4. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 15th hit of the season gave West Virginia a 2-0 lead.
"There was no wiggle room in this one," said Salas.
