| Sting Lose, 5-1, at Elks Stadium | Okanagan rode a fine outing from starter Ruben Noyola to victory over the Houston Sting at Elks Stadium. The final score was 5-1. The Lake Monsters, now 74-55, have won 4 in a row.
The Lake Monsters got a big at-bat from left fielder Brad Terney. For the game, Terney went 1 for 3 with a walk. He drove in 2 runs. In the bottom of the fifth, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 70th hit of the season gave Okanagan a 2-1 lead.
"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Okanagan manager Stu Yarbrough.
