| Orphans Win at St. Paul, 4-1 | St. Paul got a terrific game from right fielder Adrian Guerrero. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Cambridge, 4-1. Guerrero was the player of the game despite being on the losing side. He was 3-4 with 2 doubles. Jesus Rosales, credited with the win, is now 3-1. He allowed no runs on 4 hits in 2.1 innings. Even with the win, the Orphans have a dismal 44-84 record.
The Orphans got a big at-bat from center fielder Omar Pichardo. For the game, Pichardo was 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI. In the top of the first, with the bases loaded, he stroked a 2-run single. His 60th hit of the season gave Cambridge a 2-0 lead.
"I just try to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Pichardo.
