| Dancin' Outlaws Lose, 9-5, at The Reservation | Chippewa withstood an impressive performance by West Virginia right fielder Luis Gutierrez to defeat the Dancin' Outlaws, 9-5, at The Reservation. Gutierrez went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Chippewa reliever David Guerrero picked up the win, upping his record to 2-2. Jose Aguilera absorbed the loss. The losing streak for West Virginia has now reached 4 games.
Luke Corbett drove in 2 runs for Chippewa. The 22-year old second baseman had a key at-bat in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch off Jose Aguilera. It was his 56th RBI of the season.
