| Black Squirrels Bang Out 7-1 Win Versus Bethesda | The Tree City Black Squirrels defeated the Bethesda Hornets, 7-1, in RCLA action at The Nut House, with Tree City pitcher Mike Hollis named player of the game. Bethesda's current losing streak is now 5 games.
Alejandro Mata, who is tied for 2nd in the RA in runs scored with 72, aided the Tree City cause with a bases-clearing double in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the left fielder went 1-3 with a double and 2 walks. He scored 2 times and drove in 3.
