| Lake Monsters Edge Knights, 2-1 | The Okanagan Lake Monsters eked out a 2-1 win versus the Kingwood Knights at Elks Stadium. Nobody did more than pitcher Ruben Noyola, who captured player of the game honors. Noyola picked up the win for Okanagan, going 7 innings. He gave up 1 run on 5 hits. He now sports a record of 9-6. Jesús Velásquez notched his 24th save in 29 chances.
The Lake Monsters got a big at-bat from catcher Leo Martinez. For the game, Martinez went 2-3 with a double and a walk. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 18th double of the season gave Okanagan a 2-1 lead.
"We squandered some opportunities," said Kingwood manager Chris Schell.
Okanagan now sits in third place in the TMLA Dick Williams Division at 70-54.
