| Brauer Helps Coney Island Cruise to 10-1 Win | 2038 is shaping up to be a forgettable year for the St. Paul Saints.
The Coney Island Cyclones defeated the St. Paul Saints, 10-1. Earning player of the game honors was left fielder J.R. Brauer, who was 3-4 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4. The Cyclones, at 52-70, sit in 5th place in the TMLA Dick Williams Division.
Brauer had a big at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the second inning, when he hit a 2-run double. The Cyclones went on to win.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Brauer told the Coney Island Times.
