Victory Pushes Sting Record to 67-54

Houston pinch hitter Irv Embury had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the Tree City Black Squirrels, 6-2. Tree City's current losing streak is now 4 games.

Embury had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a first pitch cutter from Jaime Tait, he banged a grand slam home run to right, giving the Sting a 6-2 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Embury.

"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Embury told the Houston Gazette.
