| Road Warriors Rally For Late Win Over Emeralds | The Westside Road Warriors beat the Eugene Emeralds, 8-2, at Prefontaine Park. The Road Warriors got a fine performance from right fielder Mike Brandenburg, who captured player of the game honors. He went 3-5 with 3 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Westside is now riding a 3-game win streak.
Alexander Mathews made it 3-2, Westside, in the top of the eighth when he drew a walk, driving in 1 run. It was a big at-bat in the Road Warriors win.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Westside manager Lorenzo Rodríguez.
