| Sasquatch Beat Hops in 10 | The San Diego Hops got a superb performance from pitcher Gohta Yamashiro. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Seattle. The Sasquatch won the game, 5-4. In spite of the loss, Yamashiro was named the player of the game. He threw 6 innings allowing 3 runs. Seattle reliever C.J. Harnack picked up the win to move to 3-1. Jimmy Shumaker suffered the loss. The Sasquatch own a robust 39-22 mark.
The Sasquatch got a big at-bat from second baseman Félix Hernández. For the game, Hernández went 2 for 5 with 2 singles. In the top of the tenth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring single. His 65th hit of the season gave Seattle a 5-4 lead.
"Exciting game to play in," said Hernández. "Getting the win makes it even better."
