| Victory Pushes Vikings Record to 71-49 | The Dublin Vikings defeated the Atlantic City Kings, 4-2, at Valhalla Summit. Dublin second baseman Raul Lucio was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The Vikings bumped their record to 71-49 with this latest triumph.
Lucio had a game-changing single in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-1 slider from Carlos Hernandez, he banged a run-scoring single to center, giving the Vikings a 3-2 lead. It was the 106th hit of the year for Lucio.
"It was our day today," Lucio told the Dublin News. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
