| Seibold 5-for-5 Against Okanagan | Paul Seibold got the glory and the headlines today, but the Okanagan Lake Monsters left with the win. The Charleston third baseman easily handled the Lake Monsters pitching, going 5-for-5, but his Charleston Panthers came out on the short end of the 9-5 score.
Seibold told BNN reporters in the postgame interview he would happily trade "three or four" of his hits for a win.
"Heck, maybe even all of them," he said with a laugh. "Right now, it just seems like one loss in a long season but who knows what it could mean at the end."
Paul Seibold singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, tripled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.
So far this season Seibold is hitting .293 with 10 home runs. |
