| Knights Slip Past Chippewa, 6-5 | The rain at Stable Park did not keep Kingwood and Chippewa from finishing their game.
Kingwood second baseman Kurt Bittinger had a 3-RBI performance, which helped his team grab a 6-5 win over the Chippewa River Chiefs. Zak Osborn, credited with the win, is now 5-3. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 1 innings.
Joel Fiebig was the walk-off hero for Kingwood. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Knights pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Bittinger said after the game.
