| Kings Prevail, 4-3, Over St. Petersburg | St. Petersburg first baseman Jeff Cross had a terrific game, but it still wasn't enough to get his team a win. Cross went 3 for 3 with a triple, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 times, even as Atlantic City beat the Pelicans, 4-3. Cross was named the player of the game despite the loss. The Kings have an impressive 71-43 record.
With two out in the bottom of the sixth, Robert Burns stroked a go-ahead 2-run single. It was his 31st hit of the season and put Atlantic City in front, 4-2.
"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Burns said after the game.
