| Pensabene 'Lights Out' in Victoria Win | In a tight battle between the Victoria Vikings and the Winfield Warriors, pitcher David Pensabene was in the zone. The Victoria left-hander was named the player of the game in Victoria's 3-0 win. The Vikings have an impressive 73-45 record.
Pensabene, who dominated for Victoria, earned the victory to move to 7-8. He was in control the whole game, scattering 3 hits over 7.1 innings, while striking out 10. Winfield batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"I got in a good groove," said Pensabene. "I was getting some swings and misses."
