| Kings Slip Past St. Petersburg, 3-2 | The St. Petersburg Pelicans got a sterling performance from pitcher Neil Millirons, but the Kings still prevailed, 3-2. Millirons was named the player of the game in a losing cause. He threw 8 innings of 7-hit ball. Stephen Lau, credited with the win, is now 3-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1 innings. The Kings bumped their record to 70-43 with this latest triumph.
Marco Sotelo was the walk-off hero for Atlantic City. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Kings right fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
