| Lake Monsters Win at St. Paul, 9-6 | Lake Monsters second baseman Alex Sanchez put his stamp on his team's 9-6 win over the St. Paul Saints. Sanchez was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for Okanagan in the contest. Matt Douglas, credited with the win, is now 3-2. He allowed 6 runs on 8 hits in 7.1 innings. The Lake Monsters bumped their record to 65-51 with this latest triumph.
John Lorgee, who is tied for 9th in the TA in stolen bases with 27, aided the Okanagan cause with a 2-run home run in the top of the eighth. For the game, the left fielder went 1 for 5 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 2.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Lorgee.
