| Multi-HR Day for Thomas as Vikings Overpower Orphans, 9-6 | The Dublin Vikings topped the Cambridge Orphans, 9-6, in RCLA action at Valhalla Summit. The player of the game was Dublin first baseman Mark Thomas. Dublin reliever Bill Crabbe was credited with the win, to go to 5-0. John Saucedo took the loss for Cambridge. The Vikings bumped their record to 66-48 with this latest triumph.
J.D. Dennis swatted a run-scoring double for Dublin in the bottom of the third. The catcher went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and batted in 3.
